Depending on size and condition, most cleanings average approximately 2 to 3 hours. We allocate 2 hours for Standard Size, 2.5 hours for Large, and 3 hours for Extra Large. It is possible that we could be on site for up to 4 hours. We'll need access to electricity. When possible, we prefer to park in the street.

How often should I get my grill cleaned?
This is a common question. We recommend annual cleanings at a minimum for average grilling households of 2-4 people. First year customers, and families of 4+ should consider two cleaning sessions per year. Most grill manufacturers recommend deep cleans every 6-12 months. Season Plan customers benefit from spring and fall cleanings, and even pre- and post-holiday cosmetic sessions in between. It's best to begin regular cleanings as soon as possible. Newer grills that are consistently cleaned and maintained show the best results, performance, and enjoy a longer lifespan. Click here to learn more about our Season Plans.

I am experiencing low flame/heat.
Low flame can be caused by a variety of reasons. During a cleaning session, we inspect the burner(s) tubes to ensure that they are placed correctly, all of the burner holes are unobstructed, and identify if any parts need replaced. This sometimes helps in a "low heat" scenario. If the burner tubes do not visibly need replaced, we recommend a cleaning session in this situation and take it from there.

Will my grill look brand new again?
No, but it will be clean! Our process will get your grill as clean as it can be by removing most loose grease, grime and gunk buildup. We've noticed that age, quality of materials, rust, and how often you've kept up with cleaning are the main factors that impact cosmetic results. Obviously, results vary. As an example, the neglected grill below had not been cleaned in 8 years! Even though burn stains and rust remain, cleaning it sanitized all surfaces and greatly improved this grill's performance! As you can see, this grill was made with very high quality materials and was still able to shine! Some grills do not shine, however, once the years of grease buildup are removed owners usually notice improved temperature control and the elimination of flare ups. It's best to begin regular cleanings as soon as possible. Consistent cleaning gets the best long-term results!

Which parts of my grill are included?
You are purchasing a 2 -3 hour cleaning session, depending on grill size. During your session, we'll prioritize areas we categorize as "high priority" first. These areas include your grilling grates, flavorizer bars, heat deflectors, inside of your grill box, front exterior, attached side tables and your drip tray(s). These areas will be cleaned in every session. Then we will move on to areas we categorize as "low priority" areas for the remainder of your session duration. We categorize the following areas as low priority: inside storage cabinet, lower half exterior sides, inside drawers, underside of side tables, back of grill exterior. In situations where the session duration has exceeded 30 minutes beyond the duration level for your grill size, we will leave any remaining low priority areas for your next session. Side burners are optional and can be added for $25 each. We only clean OEM grates. After-market grates from Amazon and various other websites are not compatible with our cleaning system. We do not clean the inside of your hood, nor do we disassemble ceramic rod or briquette trays if your grill has them. Those will be set off to the side and then reinserted at the end of your session.
